Straight from the suite: the new jasonbowdach.com

The site has been rebuilt from the ground up, with a work library that now carries full-resolution graded frames. Here's what's coming next.

This site has been rebuilt from the ground up. Same work, same credits, but a foundation that finally matches the standard I hold the grading itself to.

The biggest change is in the work library. Project pages now carry full-resolution graded frames instead of compressed placeholders, so stills actually look like the deliverable rather than a rough approximation of it.

What's coming to this journal

I'm going to use this space for the things that don't fit neatly into a portfolio page: project breakdowns, notes on HDR and Dolby Vision delivery, and posts on the engineering behind the PixelTools DCTLs I build for DaVinci Resolve. Less marketing copy, more of the actual process.

Project breakdowns and before/after comparisons are coming to this journal next.

If you want these posts (and nothing else) in your inbox, the newsletter is the place — I'll use it for release notes, not noise.

Got a project in mind? I'd like to hear about it — reach out through the contact page and let's talk through what you're trying to make.
